I believe that technology can significantly enhance ones learning experience and as an educator I am passionate about the transformative power of said technology. Intergrading technology into education can be essential for preparing students now and in the future for the demands of the 21st century. My philosophy of education technology is strongly rooted in the belief that technology can enhance not only learning but also provide equitable access to resources as well as foster collaboration. With technology, you can embrace the side of learning that is more engaging as it is interactive and personalized thus allowing students to explore any topic in depth and at their own pace. Using technology can help enable educators to connect with their students in ways that are new and more meaningful which breaks the traditional barriers to learning. My goal is to help leverage technology and create a dynamic with an inclusive learning environment. With this goal, I hope to support diverse learning styles, promote critical thinking and foster as well as encourage creativity. Using technology and intertwining it with my teaching, I hope it will prepare students with academic knowledge as well as digital literacy skills needed to survive in a world that changes constantly. In summary, my education technology philosophy is centered on the fact that technology will transform education and will make it more engaging, effective, and accessible. I am dedicated to use said technology to create learning environments that have an inclusive and dynamic environment in hopes to prepare my students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
